Relating to Connect

Relating to Connect will support, inspire, encourage and develop empowering connection within you, your intimate partner and significant others in your life.

This program is a Foundation Training in the art of Compassionate (Nonviolent) Communication (NVC) as developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D.

You'll be introduced you to a simple, powerful and effective process that when properly applied, dissolves conflicts, creates connection and supports the meeting of  needs for everyone involved without compromise.

To register for this program see below.

The Relating to Connect program shows you that by connecting with yourself through your body, you'll more quickly develop fluency and skill at applying NVC:

In intimate relationships, family dynamics and personal friendships: It will give you the tools to deepen intimacy, to work through conflict and create connection.

In parenting: It will show you how to truly listen to your children...so they can listen to you...in a way that honours both parent and child.

In Leadership: It will give you some powerful keys to offering "power with" leadership to drive collaboration and teamwork.

The focus of the Relating to Connect program is to explore the application of NVC  to your life situation, whether it is with a relationship partner, your child, family member, or a work colleague.

It offers a very exciting opportunity to learn something that is truly effective and has the capacity to transform your relationships. I can say that with all honesty, as that has been my experience. My journey with NVC  has softened my hard edges, taught me how to truly connect with others, how to see the other's point of view, how to deal with day to day communication challenges in my relationships at a very practical level and supported me to stand in my leadership in important moments.

Come and join me at the training!

Testimonials:

"I found the Relating to Connect program to be incredibly insightful and enriching. It opened my eyes to old and new ways of communicating with others. It gave me strategies for connecting with myself and others through the heart.

I felt Alistair gave plenty of opportunity and space for all participants to voice what was alive for them whatever needed voice during our sessions. He expressed a general openness to hearing whatever came up. He showed an acceptance without judgment and created a safe atmosphere for genuine expression”. (Young mother)

"I found Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to be a really powerful tool for connecting back with myself and with what is actually happening. I found that it takes me back directly into my experience and allows me to come into the clarity, simplicity and 'truth' that I've been seeking for some time when trying to work through tangled situations, feelings etc.

I also enjoyed and felt completely comfortable in your facilitation Alistair. I wanted to try NVC with you because I know you have a complete commitment to truth and would not try to push ideas or views onto anyone.

I also found that you were completely confident and fluent in the application of NVC and I found your input really valuable in the exercises we did (particularly the last one)" (Legal Secretary)

"Alistair was transparent and allowed himself to be vulnerable and authentic, thereby modelling / living this work"  (fellow NVC Trainer)

"I felt Alistair was clear in his instructions, listened deeply, and maintained a skillful balance between holding for individual needs and the needs of the group in the context of the course.

He had the courage to be vulnerable and I felt he really embodied the process."
